The Young Somali Professional of North America (YSPNA) has
created this statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment
to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering
and dissemination practices for this website: www.yspna.org.
This website is maintained by the YSPNA Communications Director
to further our mission of strengthening to empower, network
and exchange ideas about career goals, education, social and
economic development, religion and family.
Privacy Notice
In order to effectively achieve this mission, we collect the
names, addresses, emails, and issue area interests of new
members so that we may alert them about important decisions,
conferences, networking, and membership benefits. The information
is collected voluntarily through the Public Alerts Sign-Up
page. It is then securely stored in a SQL data base and is
used only by YSPNA for internal purposes. YSPNA can use this
information to alert you (the subscriber) of upcoming decisions
or events through emails. We will not share, sell, or rent
this information to any outside organization. Should our practices
change, this notice will be immediately updated. Regardless
of later updates, we will never use the information you submit
under this current notice in a new way (in a way not described
in this notice) without first providing you an opportunity
to opt-out or otherwise prevent that use.
